PLEASE NOTE: At this time, in response to the challenge of the COVID 19 virus, Brown University has suspended all international and domestic travel to protect health and contain viral spread. With these considerations, we are planning to hold the TAI live, on-line. This will allow each of you to remain home, and, to avoid unnecessary travel and physical contact with others.
The MBSR Teacher Advancement Intensive (TAI) offers MBSR teacher-trainees opportunities to strengthen teaching skills, deepen personal practice, and investigate the nature and complexity of stress as it is experienced in our lives as well as the relationship of mindfulness to cultivate resilience. This is done in the context of a learning and practicing community, through self-reflection, dialogue, and experiential teaching activities. Due to the nature of the online format, there may be some between-session assignments to complete prior to each weekend.
The MBSR Teacher Advancement Intensive fulfills the second-level formal program at the Mindfulness Center at Brown University’s teacher training pathway to becoming certified as an MBSR Teacher.
